Some Trips We Took

Visits with friends and family

Wanda took advantage of her sister Sharon's hospitality in February. While Steve was "roughing it" in the Chile desert, Wanda relaxed in comfort at the home of the Westerfield's in Rochester. A great winter visit with Sharon and Mike and family!

Another great trip was to San Diego in the spring with friends Tom and Deb Steipp and Chris and Pam Koning. We all attended a Walk Thru the Bible conference at the Hotel Del Coronado. The time with friends was great, the speakers were great - but the highlight for Wanda and Steve had to be the time at the Del. We last were there in 1971 for our honeymoon! Steve's best man - Skip Bick - learned of the trip and treated us to a wonderful gift certificate to use at the hotel.

After Julie's return from school we took a day trip to visit our beloved Aunt Martha and Uncle Bill in Petaluma. Still wonderful after all these years of friendship and mutual support!

This fall Mike and Sharon came to California for a visit and we had a nice day trip to Half Moon Bay over by the coast. Lunch at the Ritz and a quiet afternoon by the sea.
